Saint Nicholas School, a preschool-8th grade school near the med center, is moving to a 46.82-acre tract of land it plans to fully develop with school buildings, residential components and more.
Taeken Ltd., a Houston-area limited partnership, purchased the tract at South Main Street and Jethro Street near the Texas Medical Center for an undisclosed sum. That land will be home to Saint Nicholas School, which is more than doubling its footprint with a new, 38,000-square-foot school, a gym facility, chapel and playing fields on roughly 25 acres of the land. The remaining 20 acres will be available for development, said Margot Heard, the school’s headmaster.
