The South Post Oak Redevelopment Authority, the Hiram Clarke/Fort Bend Redevelopment Authority, and the Five Corners Improvement District have entered into a tri‑party agreement to deliver a unified system of overhead wayfinding signage across key corridors in Southwest Houston.
This coordinated signage system is grounded in the Environmental Design Master Plan developed by Asakura Robinson, which provides the shared design language, placement strategy, and visual standards that guide the project. By building from a single, districtwide framework, the partners ensure that major routes receive consistent, high‑visibility signage that improves navigation, strengthens district identity, and supports ongoing mobility and safety projects.
Through joint procurement and shared implementation, the three entities are also reducing costs by leveraging economies of scale and operational synergy. Instead of each district designing, fabricating, and installing signs independently, the tri‑party approach streamlines production, minimizes duplication, and creates long‑term savings in maintenance and replacement.
The overhead signage program reflects a shared commitment to regional mobility and demonstrates how local partners can work together to enhance infrastructure and better serve the community.
