Attention District K community leaders,
The District K office is hosting a Neighborhood 101 workshop on Saturday, May 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. that will address the In’s and Out’s of Neighborhood Protection (see attachment). The workshop will occur at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center, 3810 West Fuqua St. (between Buffalo Speedway and Hiram Clarke Rd.).
Council Member Green is encouraging all District K civic board members to attend (even though the workshop is open to all District K residents). This interactive workshop will better inform you of the City’s position relative to the processes of neighborhood protection violations including residential and commercial properties. We have also invited the Legal Dept. to attend to answer those “gray area” inquiries pertaining to enforcement issues.
Seating is limited, so RSVP is required. Join us for this informative workshop and encourage your respective board members to accompany you in attendance. The workshop is OPEN to ALL. Thanks in advance and I look forward to your RSVP e-mail.
Spread the word!
Regards,
Donald R. Perkins, Chief of Staff
