President’s Message
Early voting begins Monday, October 21. Are you educated on what you will need to vote, the candidates, and the propositions?
If not, be sure to attend the Coalition meeting Thursday, October 17. We will have a list of propositions, examples of approved identification cards needed to vote, and a sample ballot. Be an educated voter.
On the ballot, you will be selecting a motor, a city council member (district K), five at-large city council members, a controller, and a school board trustee (District 9).
There are nine State of Texas propositions and two Harris County propositions. Do you know what they are?
If you plan to vote by mail, the last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, October 25. The application must be received by October 25, not postmarked.
