The City of Houston’s Municipal Courts Department (MCD) continues its efforts of community outreach by hosting Municipal Mini-Court Clinics on Tuesday, June 18th through Thursday, June 20th, 2019. MCD staff will be on hand to help citizens obtain information about the status of their court case(s), provide public safety information and showcase some of the other services offered by the courts.

“Municipal Court Clinics enable those we serve to become better acquainted with the various services and the many options available to them to help take care of their court matters. We want to keep the public aware of all the programs and specialized courts that are in place to assist them, as well as educate them on traffic safety,” said Director and Presiding Judge, J. Elaine Marshall.

The court clinics are designed to help Houstonians better understand how to handle their court business at MCD and to promote traffic safety.

Location information for each clinic is as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 18th, Denver Harbor Multi-Service Center (6402 Market St., 77020), 10am-2pm
  • Wednesday, June 19th, Hiram Clark Multi-Service Center (3810 W. Fuqua, 77045), 10am-2pm
  • Thursday, June 20th, Southwest Multi-Service Center (6400 High Star, 77074), 10am-2pm

MCD, which annually handles close to a million civil and criminal class C misdemeanor cases, is among the largest court systems in the United States.
