METRO is again offering FREE rides for students the for the summer

METRO is again offering FREE rides for students the for the entire summer with METRO’s Summer of Fun Program June 1 through Sept. 1, 2018. Students can ride free anywhere METRO goes with a Student METRO Q Fare Card.

Students who don’t have a card can apply for one today by following this link. After the program ends, your student can keep the card and use it to get 50 percent off regular fare.

  • Apply online
  • Apply through the mail by opening the attached pdf or downloading the form and mailing it back
  • Apply in person at the METRO RideStores: 1900 Main St. or 1001Travis St.
  • Visit one of our METRO RideStores, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 1900 Main Street or 1001 Travis Street

K-12 Students – Provide only one of the following:

  • Current school ID
  • Report card
  • Class schedule

College & University Students – Provide one of the following:

  • Current class schedule and a fee receipt
  • Letter from the college verifying you’re a current student
  • Student METRO Q® Fare Card registration form signed and stamped by the school registrar
