  • Our Voters Guide features reliable, nonpartisan election information, unedited candidate autobiographies and unedited candidate responses to selected policy questions.
  • We cover Texas statewide and Harris County races as well as City of Houston ballot issues.
  • All ballot candidates in opposed races are invited to submit profiles.
  • Coming soon! In addition to our English Guide, we will shortly publish editions in Spanish and – for the first time ever – in Vietnamese. Paper copies will be available at your local library.

  • Early Voting begins on Monday, October 22, 2018. You can find Early Voting dates, times and locations here.
  • If you’re over 65, if you’re sick or disabled, or if you plan to be out of Harris County during the Early Voting Period and on Election Day, you are eligible to vote by mail. You can request your mail ballot NOW at www.harrisvotes.com.
