Welcome Janae Winfield to District K!
The District K office is happy to announce Janae Winfield has joined our team as Chief of Staff. Most recently, Janae served as senior policy advisor to Mayor Pro Tem- Ellen Cohen. In this capacity Janae led constituent services which included citizen education, case management, community initiative coordination, stakeholder engagement and oversight of street and drainage capital improvement projects.
Born and raised in the Acres Homes community in Houston, Janae obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Health Communications from the University of Houston. We are excited to have Janae and her family join the District K family.
