On Thursday, February 12, 2015, I will be hosting District 146 Day at the Texas State Capitol; the details are provided below. The primary focus of this event will be for participants to gain familiarity with the legislative process while gaining access to leading figures within the Legislature. Buses will depart from the district no later than 7:00 AM on that day heading to Austin. Once there, participants will get a firsthand look at the legislative process, and our own Pastor Gusta Booker, Sr. of Greater St. Matthew Church will serve as the Pastor of the Day.
