The City of Houston’s (COH) Green Building Resource Center (GBRC) is a very useful resource for conserving energy, water and materials. It is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 1002 Washington Avenue, Houston 77002, in the LEED Gold Certified Houston Permitting Center.

In addition to healthy indoor air quality with over 50 displays of green technology, you can now take a photo of yourself with Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, post it on social media and tell the world you are upgrading your green IQ at the GBRC. Also make time to visit the green roof and a huge solar panel array with four wind turbines.
