SBA is currently accepting applications for 40 small business owners to participate in SBA’s 2019 Emerging Leaders Program.
SBA’s Emerging Leaders program is designed to help you take your business to the next level! This structured program gives you the resources and tools to build your business. Throughout the course of the program, you will write a three year strategic plan that is tailored to your business and you will be introduced to a network of business experts that can help you as you implement your plan.
You will agree to commit to a total of 100 hours of programming, including 40 hours of classroom training, seven CEO mentoring meetings, and course work assignments. Because Emerging Leaders is funded by the Small Business Administration, there is no charge to you. Classes begin in April and end in October (schedule will be set soon).
If you meet the criteria listed below, you could be one of 40 business owners selected for 2 Houston locations:
- Have annual revenues of at least $250,000.
- Have been in business for at least three years.
- Have at least one employee, other than self (the person participating in the program must be the CEO, COO, CFO, Owner, or President and be a key decision maker).
