The KHB Board and Commissioners had a terrific spring meeting Thursday, March 7th and were wonderfully hosted by the University of Houston. The food was outstanding, the meeting space beautiful, and we were even fortunate enough to have a fantastic guest speaker. Michael Mendoza, Manager of Sustainability, filled us in on all of the terrific things going on around campus. Big thanks to the Cougars for a great day.

We want give a big shout out and huge THANK YOU to Keep America Beautiful, Jameson Irish Whiskey and 8th Wonder Brewery for a terrific time at the Love They Neighborhood Block Party on Sunday, March 3rd. It was a fun filled day including delicious food, awesome music and great spirits all around. In addition, Keep Houston Beautiful was awarded two different grants for their participation in the event. One of those will be helping to activate a community project based on the recycling votes that came in! Stay tuned for more details to come.
