The Five Corners District in Southwest Houston is hosting a virtual workshop focused on exploring options for Emerging Mobility in the community. Emerging Mobility includes topics like microtransit (like bikeshare or scooter sharing programs), curb management to accommodate new roadway users like ridehailing companies, automated/connected vehicle technology, smart infrastructure to better manage things like parking, Complete Streets, transit equity, and connectivity.
A team of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) partners and their consultants will facilitate a virtual workshop on July 27-29 for residents and local stakeholders. The workshop will bring together key stakeholders from throughout our region to develop an action plan for implementing Emerging Mobility strategies. Your participation and knowledge of the community is needed to help make this event a success!
The workshop includes a virtual public meeting and two virtual work sessions focused on the community’s transportation vision and goals and specific strategies for reaching them, ultimately resulting in an action plan for moving forward.
