In the latest episode of Mobility NOW, Alan Clark is joined by Stephen Costello, Houston City Council member and Isaac Ramirez, Chief Transportation Planner for an overview of the 2040 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).
The 2040 RTP is the “blueprint” for the eight-county region’s transportation system to the year 2040. It identifies goals, strategies and priorities for meeting transportation needs. With population growth projected at 60 percent to a total of almost 10 million people, the eight-county region will need to develop strategies to meet this demand.
