Congratulations, Ashley Ivory, Red Elementary HAABSE Teacher of the Year!
Please join me in congratulating District K resident, Ashley Ivory, the 2020-2021 Red Elementary, Houston Area Alliance of Black Educators (HAABSE) Teacher of the Year! Ashley Ivory earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Texas Southern University and her Master of Education from Lamar University. She has been a teacher in the Houston Independent School District since 2009, with several years at Red Elementary. In 2019, she was awarded the Golden Apple Award from Houston Area Women of Achievement.
