Dear District K Residents,
I’m reaching out to share some news about a valued member of our team. Melvin Hopkins, who has served our community with dedication, will be out indefinitely to care for his wife as she bravely fights cancer. Right now, his focus needs to be on her healing, and we want to give him the time and space to be fully present for his family.
In his absence, Barbara Hite, our Director of Constituent Services, will be available to assist you. If you have any questions or need support, please reach out to her at [email protected] or 832-392-3016. She is ready to ensure the needs of our District K community continue to be met.
We know how much Melvin cares about this community, and I’m sure he would appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and understanding. The best way we can support him is by allowing him this time with his family.
