Good Afternoon District K Neighbors,

On October 24th the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) inspected and passed the repairs to the Chimney Rock at Highway 90 intersection of the railroad line. Union Pacific was notified by FRA and has reinstated the Quiet Zone. Union Pacific does have the authority to sound the train horn at their discretion. A horn alert typically occurs when there is a threat of danger, i.e. someone or something is on the train track.
