Let’s make sure all of our neighborhoods have proper deed restrictions to protect and preserve our communities. The City’s Legal Department and local attorney Ms. Suzy Rice, who specializes in protecting neighborhoods through deed restrictions, will be presenting at Thursday’s Committee meeting. Ms. Rice will also answer public questions and provide valuable insights on topics such as:

  • Amending/creating deed restrictions
  • Businesses operating in neighborhoods
  • Short-term rentals
  • Squatters
  • Noisy neighbors

This is a great opportunity to learn more about protecting your neighborhood. Ms. Rice previously worked with Mayor Pro Tem in 2022 to lead Deed Restrictions workshops.
