Sims Bayou Greenway Community Improvement Meeting

Please make plans to attend the upcoming Sims Bayou Greenway Improvements meeting hosted by the Houston Parks Board on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center.

The nonprofit Houston Parks Board is working on its signature project in the community, the Sims Bayou Greenway, which is part of a larger, citywide initiative called Bayou Greenways 2020. Bayou Greenways 2020 will complete a 150-mile greenway network with hike-and-bike trails along Houston’s major waterways, connecting people, places and greenspaces.

As part of its efforts to create the Sims Bayou Greenway, the Houston Parks Board will present updates on their progress at the meeting. Come prepared to learn about new amenities coming to the greenway!

There are a few developers interested in sharing potential projects for the Fort Bend area. Your input is extremely valuable to Council Member Castex-Tatum. The meeting will entail a brief discussion about tax credits and conclude with the developers’ presentations. We look forward to seeing you there!
