As we get closer to starting construction of our new library coming to 5505 Belrose Dr. we must determine a name. The Library Naming Committee has narrowed the over 300 suggestions to five choices. The city wide poll is now open. Over the next 14 days, Houstonians can vote for their favorite name from the list.
Also, tonight I am hosting a community meeting for residents to share their desires for our new library with Executive Director, Dr. Rhea Lawson via Teams. Attached is a copy of the press release announcing the city-wide poll and community meeting. We hope you will join the meeting tonight at 6:00pm and of course, vote for the name you believe is the best choice for our new state of the art library in District K.
