Arbor Day Tree Planting Event
Saturday, January 21, 2017
Council Member Larry Green has partnered with Trees for Houston and the Houston Parks Board to plant 100, 15-gallon trees along the Sims Bayou corridor in conjunction with the District K Klean It Up/Green It Up Initiative and the Bayou Greenways 2020.
All necessary planting equipment will be provided for environmentalists of all ages and ability level, so bring your friends and family! Volunteers are welcome.

8:30 a.m. – Volunteer Registration
9:00 a.m. – Tree Planting Starts
