The District Public Safety program includes enhanced communication and cooperation among property owners, tenants, neighborhood-based organizations and law enforcement agencies. Major improvement in the District’s levels of public safety service has allowed the community to grow economically and become a more welcoming place for residential and business property owners, tenants, guests, visitors, and consumers.
