The City of Houston Mayoral Debate is re-schedule for October 15, 2013, at Bethel’s Place Empowerment Center, 6-9pm, located 12660 Sandpiper, Houston, Tx 77035.
A coalition of southwest Houston super neighborhoods has been formed to produce a mayoral debate and candidates forum for the residents of our area. The coalition has arranged for a 1,400 seat auditorium and is publicizing the program very heavily throughout the area. All candidates are invited to have representation at this event which will be held in the Bethel’s Place Empowerment Center at 12660 Sandpiper.
The doors will open at 5:30 and there will be “meet and greet” opportunities for the candidates in the lobby until 7:00 pm. From 7:00 to 8:00 pm, those candidates not participating in the debate will have an opportunity to address the audience. The length of this presentation will depend on how many campaigns will be attending. The mayoral debate will begin at 8:00 pm.
