The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors and your surroundings. National Night Out triumphs over a culture that isolates us from each other and allows us to rediscover our own communities. National Night Out will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. If your community plans to celebrate, let us know. We’ll be happy to celebrate with you. If your neighborhood will celebrate NNO on a different date please let us know so we can plan to attend and present certificates to your civic club or HOA. Please email Joe.Gatson@houstontx.gov or districtk@houstontx.gov or call 832-393-3016.

There will be 118, 15 gallon trees planted in Glenshire Park for the Carbon Tree Planting Project, this November. The value that trees bring to a community cannot be overstated. Trees support the environment by removing harmful pollutants from the air, providing food and shelter for a variety of birds and animals, storing carbon and creating oxygen, and removing harmful pollutants from the air, by soaking up the sun’s ray.
