Here are COVID-19 updates from the Houston Health Department for the week of February 21, 2022.

Overall Situation

Houston’s latest 14-day average COVID-19 positivity rate is 9.7%, down from 15.9% last week and 38.0% in early January. The wastewater virus load is 87%, down from 126% last week and 1,436% in early January. Get vaccinated, get boosted, and mask up to drive the numbers lower.
