District K Residents Celebrate
National Night Out!

On October 4th, Mayor Turner presented Chief Troy Finner and HPD with a proclamation, celebrating National Night Out at the official NNO press conference. National Night Out was created to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community relationships.
During the press conference Houstonians were asked to turn on their porch lights, gather and get to know their neighbors.

District K residents, once again, showed their commitment to community involvement with food, fellowship and fun! Our district relies on the support of community leaders and residents to continue thriving. Thank you to every person who played a role in ensuring NNO was a huge success in District K. Special thanks to HarvesTrolley, HISD Trustee Myrna Guidry, Council Member David Robinson, HPD officers and Constables for visiting with us as well. BIG congratulations to the following communities for allowing us to share in your events and for your dedication to building community and crime prevention!
