2017 Sister Cities of Houston Annual Fall Concert “Sister Cities – Our Bridges to the World”, Nov. 18

HOUSTON — Sister Cities Houston President Harry Gee stated, “As the world becomes smaller, and connections online become more frequent than face-to-face interactions, multicultural understanding at the community level is more important than ever.” On Saturday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m., Sister Cities of Houston presents its 2017 Annual Fall Concert “Sister Cities – Our Bridges to the World” at MATCH. The Fall Concert is an annual international variety show that features local and international performers from Houston and its 18 Sister Cities.

Ella Fitzgerald Centennial Celebration – Jazz Houston, Nov. 4

The District K office is promoting this jazz performance, in partnership with Jazz Houston. Jazz Houston is a 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to the performance and education of jazz music. During the upcoming 2017-2018 calendar season, they will present programming in Houston through a series of public concerts and workshops at multiple venues.
